You can read about me making it on my Bridal Garter Blog I’d been searching for really special trimings and decided to have some exclusive lace made in Nottingham. It’s so delicate, tiny embroidered rayon flowers on cotton tulle. My supplier made lace for Princess Diana’s wedding but that’s for another blog post �� I’ve threaded this gorgeous lace with a duck egg blue silk ribbon. Then the bit I really loved doing, stitching alternate spaces with tiny silk ribbon flowers in a vintage peach and grey. The soft muted, colours go beautifully together and each tiny flower is topped with a 2mm crystal… More tiny rose gold crystals are added to alternate scallops of lace, then fine double toning bows and a single crystal. You can add your names and wedding date inside the main garter. I’ve made an exquisite half size version for you to toss, if you can bear to part with it! Catherine x
