Founded in 1973, Nipun aims to promote rich handmade artisanship through its innumerous high quality offerings: home decor, fashion wear, children wear, jewelry, accessories and several other lifestyle items.

In the middle of the 80’s fashion and thoughts on it came to our country in a small way. The idea of Nipun goes back to 1973, the young days of Bangladesh just after a bloody war. Ashrafur Rahman Faruque has started this project in a small outlet at Malibagh with a vision to explore Bangladeshi handloom fabric as well as it’s product to the whole country.

Nipun, the brand has been working for more than 39 years with a view to promote the local fashion industry. It has been playing a vital role to foster the local handloom, artisan and ultimately the entire local fashion industry.

In 1978 Nipun created one well equipped design studio which is dedicated for creation of innovative design for matching with the customers changing choices and 6000 contract artisans are directly and indirectly involved with Nipun.
