Newton Heath successfully dropped the “Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Co” in 1892 and proceeded into the Football League which was two divisions. The club adopted the colours of green with yellow trim. The shirt depicts all of the detail at the time with a deep three button collar. The Heathans became Manchester United in 1902 adopting the familiar red colour. We believe such a fantastic shirt needs returning to the stands and is available for the first time.
