Before Pompey wore the famous Blue shirts, the original colour was Pink with a maroon trim. This was worn between 1898 to 1909 which were a nod to the City’s tram colours. These colours gave rise to the original nickname “The Shrimps” It is unlikely the Badge would have featured on a shirt but was the closest one available to the time when this shirt was worn.
