Built with the same proven drum technology as the standard BD-300, this Combi model now features a 150 litre bio chamber, offering increased biological capacity for improved water quality and stability. This increased capacity allows for enhanced ammonia and nitrite breakdown, making it ideal for heavily stocked koi ponds. Flow can be balanced between the main outlets and the additional side outlets depending on system requirements. Internal UV System The BD-300 MK3 Combi is designed to house 2 x 20-watt UV units internally. Installing UVs inside the drum helps eliminate green water while also keeping the drum screen cleaner, resulting in fewer cleaning cycles. When correctly sized, additional external UV units are not required. Please note: If adding UVs, 1 stainless steel UV fitting is required per UV.
