Where paddocks are divided and there is a possibility that horses could be on both sides of the fence, we recommend double-fencing with at least one metre between the two fences. Alternatively, off-set electric brackets can be used to enhance the fence. R13/120/8 combines solid vertical wires “stiff-stays” spaced at 80mm with horizontal line wires spaced at 100mm, and an overall height of 1200mm. The high tensile line wires give excellent resistance to animal impact and the “stiff-stays” resist downward pressure. Close vertical wire spacings help prevent damage to hooves. The Torus knot has no sharp edges, this helps to prevent hair or rugs from getting caught by the mesh.
